Galloway's Visual Impairment Awareness Training enhances understanding of sight loss and its impact on individuals. The course offers practical strategies to support those with sight loss, in everyday life and beneficial for organisations wishing to improve customer experiences. Delivered interactively with real-life examples by experienced practitioners, attendees receive a certificate of attendance and gain ideas for increased inclusivity.After attending the training session, you'll have:
- An increased understanding of sight loss
- Improved communication skills for those with a visual impairment
- Developed basic guiding skills
- Hints & tips for supporting people living with sight loss
- Understanding how to prevent & overcome customer service barriers faced by those with sight loss
- Know how to ensure your organisation is accessible & inclusive for visually impaired people.
