Join DG Outdoor Adventures for a hike up the most iconic mountain in England and regarded as Britain's favourite hike as featured on 100 best walks with a view with Julia Bradbury.
Helvellyn is a fantastic peak to climb and on a clear day there are 360 panoramic views of the Lake District with Scotland and Ireland also prominent in the distance.
We start the weekend with a light hike in the around Rydal Water on the Saturday taking no more than 3 hours and enjoying the lakeland views as well as Rydal Cave before returning to our chosen accomodation and meeting up for an evening meal for those that wish to join.

On Sunday we attemt to climb Helvellyn from the Thirlmere route at Swirls car park. This will be an early start so we can get access to the car park so an early night beforehand is essential. The hike will be circular and take no more than 6.5 hours. 
Please do not be late as it holds up the group.  
The weekend is fully guided and for those that wish we will meet up on the Saturday evening for a meal and a briefing. There is also an option to just join us for the Sunday. 
Pricing is for hiking only. Accommodation is not provided as people prefer their own comforts so do book up early to avoid disappointment.
