Maiastra returns this summer to perform in the beautiful Surrey church which dates back to Norman times.Maiastra is pleased to present a string quartet who will perform one of Beethoven's late string quartets. The quartet No. 13 in B-flat major, Op.130 will be performed in its entirety. After the interval the musicians will then perform the quartet again, however this time they will play it with the Große Fuge, which was the original ending written by Beethoven in 1826.
Conductor and musicologist, Joseph Fort, will be giving at pre-concert talk starting at 7.30pm.
