At Community & Business Partners we support Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Micro Business Leaders, and SME’s across the world. Your Business Bootcamp has been designed for business owners and leaders to come together and learn from some of the most inspirational businesses in the Northwest.
This interactive day will focus on all the areas that business leaders and entrepreneurs will require to scale, grow and thrive in 2023 and beyond.
Agenda:
08.30 - 09.00: Networking Breakfast
09.00 - 09.15: Introduction – Jaydee Davis – Managing Director
09.30 - 10.15: Workshop Option 1 - Culture Club with Dave Scholes and Andi Lewis - Six Connections
In 2020 Six Connections was established as a legacy for mental health change. Starting with one conversation, they have helped 1000’s of people to start healthy conversations around mental health, within their workspace and beyond.
Their training encourages the wellbeing conversations that need to happen (but often aren’t) connecting individuals and teams to sustainable, collective action, with support for ALL.
Their creative range of products help to start the conversations that we all need from time to time. QR codes on each connect friends and family to easily accessible mental health support 24-7.
Dave is the conversation starter. Tackling mental health as a legacy for his mate, his Adidas clad feet will drive our purpose, until the conversations that we all need are part of the everyday.
Andi brings it to life, with infectious positivity and a personal touch. Engaging hearts and empowering minds, she provides tools and confidence to take real, life transforming action!
We are #PoweredByMates

Mick Ramsden
20 years ago, Mick felt trapped in the corporate procurement world despite his wide-ranging expertise in the supply chain. He had skills but was used solely as a cost driven animal to get results for his employer. So, he broke free, took a risk with 2 young kids to support (soon to become 3) and started his own business (soon to become businesses). Mick has never looked back.
Our mission at Essential Sourcing is focussed on equipping individuals with the necessary tools and mindset to become Procureneurs® and use their creative talent, enabling them to make a meaningful impact and shape the future of procurement.
Dave Liggins
Introducing Dave Liggins, a seasoned professional whose career began in the construction industry before transitioning into the dynamic world of retail. With over 14 years of hands-on experience in a family-run business, Dave's journey through procurement and cost savings has been shaped by practical insights gained from real-world challenges. Dave's approach to procurement is rooted in his understanding that learning often involves making mistakes and experiencing firsthand how to transform procurement into a profitable asset.
