Learn to Ride (Reception to Year 6) - These sessions are aimed at children who cannot or have only just learnt to ride. To get them to gain confidence and balance we use balance bikes and other balance toys in a form of play. Once we feel they are happy, we encourage them to try a bike with pedals. We work with them to get them to set off and ride confidently. Once they can do this, we can teach them other skills to help them better control their bikes.
Bikeability Ready (Reception to Year 6) - This session is where they learn additional skills to prepare them for Bikeability Level 1 & 2.
If you have your own bike and helmet, bring them along, although we do have some bikes and helmets if you don’t have one. For insurance purposes all riders must wear a helmet.
ONLY £15 per day, plus every child will receive a badge and a certificate!
Daily Sessions from 10.00am to 3.00pm (limited availability):
- Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd August 2023 - Learn to Ride
- Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th August 2023 - Bikeability Ready
- Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th August 2023 - Bikeability Ready
- Thursday 10th and Friday 11th August 2023 - Learn to Ride
- Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th August 2023 - Learn to Ride
- Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th August 2023 - Bikeability Ready
- Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd August 2023 - Bikeability Ready
- Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th August 2023 - Learn to Ride
Please send your child with a packed lunch.
