Newcastle High School for Girls Seahorse Club Summer Holidays 2023

Friday 7th July - Friday 25th August 2023

This club is for pupils of Newcastle High School for Girls only, we cannot accept children that do not attend the school.

Week 1 – Fun Friday (7^th July)

Week 2 – On the beach (10^th to 14^th July)

Week 3 – Mythical Creatures (17^th to 21^st July)

Week 4 – We’re going on a bear hunt! (24^th to 28^th July)

Week 5 – Active mind and body (31^st July to 4^th August)

Week 6 – Under the Sea (7^th to 11^th August)

Week 7 – On Safari (14^th to 18^th August)

Week 8 – Dance camp - learning new dance skills (21^st to 25^th August)

Booking information

Please make separate bookings for each child attending Holiday Club.

When using childcare vouchers, please enter the promotion code CHILDCARE into the promotion code box located in your shopping basket.  Please then make payment to the school through your childcare voucher provider.

You can book the full week, individual days  or half days for your child.

Seahorse Club Terms and Conditions

Changing your booking

Seven days notice is required and the school will endeavour to change the dates within the same holiday season (e.g. summer), subject to availability. If you request a change to an activity that is more expensive, then you will be charged the difference between your original booking and your new one.

Cancelling your booking

A minimum of 14 days notice is required to cancel a booking. All monies paid will be refunded less the equivalent of £10 per day cancellation fee. In the case of cancellations with less than 14 days notice, we regret that no refund will be provided except in the case of injury/illness which has been certified in writing by a registered medical practitioner accompanied by a letter to the school.

Insurance

All children in our care are covered by our Public Liability Insurance.

First Aid

In the event of an accident, first aid will be administered to children in our care, and the emergency services will be called if necessary.

Child Exclusion

If, on the rare occasion that a child proves incompatible with the general well-being of the group e.g. bullying, disruptive or aggressive behaviour, the school reserves the right to exclude such children from Seahorse Club. No refund will be made for any remaining days booked and any costs associated with the exclusion, including transport home, will be the parent’s responsibility.

Late collection

Please note that there is a standing charge of £10 for collection after 6pm and a further £20 for collection after 6:15pm.

Please note: children are required to bring packed lunches and snacks every day.  We are a nut-free school and we ask parents not to include nuts or nut products in any packed lunches sent in to school.
