“Many people who have transited through or visited an airport, may well have noticed the control tower and correctly surmised that the pilots of aircraft taking off and landing at the airport are receiving instructions from the staff there, to ensure a safe and orderly flow of flights. But what about when an aircraft is in mid-flight, many miles from its destination - who provides a similar service then? What human traits do recruiters look for in selecting potential future air traffic controllers?In this Winter Lunch presentation, Richard will hopefully be able to broaden audience understanding of the subject, and why, from the age of 14, he knew it was the career for him!”
