Extended Mine Tours - August 2023
Our extended mine tours are back, this time with two different routes; No7s and Bassey Mine. These tours are a bit more demanding than our normal tour so is only for the adventurous The trip will last 1 ½ to 2 hours and our experienced guides will take you to parts of the mine not normally accessible. Before taking part there will be an introductory video and you will be asked to sign a simple declaration for insurance purposes.
On extended tour days there will be two tours, at 11am and 2pm, with ten places on each one. Our normal tours will also be available.
Requirements
To take part on this tour you will need…
- Warm Clothing that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.
- Stout waterproof footwear, e.g. boots or wellies.
- To be reasonably fit (there are some steep bits!)
- To be aged 14 or over.
- To be comfortable in moderately confined spaces
- To not suffer from any condition that could incapacitate you during the tour.
