In Concert with Mansfield &DMVC and South Wales MVC
About
Among the 23 male voice choirs performing in the Royal Albert Hall in April 2024 for the Welsh Association of Male Choirs will be Mansfield and District Male Voice Choir and the four choirs that comprise the South Wales MVC. Following an appearance at Lincoln Cathedral on 8th September we are honoured to perform with this talented choir. We are sure to be performing part of the RAH repertoire (some in Welsh no doubt) as a small preview of the London event.The South Wales Male Choir was formed mainly as a touring choir in 1982 and have performed at many Cathedrals and prestigious venues in the U.K. and around the world including Australia, U.S.A., Mexico, Canada, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe. They have formed part of the entertainment on board Fred Olsen cruise ships and on shore in Tallin, Estonia; St Petersburg, Russia; and Helsinki, Finland. Their Musical Director is Rhiannon Williams, her deputy is Elaine Robins and the accompanist is Sîan Davies.
