A real hillwalking delight in the Surrey Hills
Join Sue Green and North Downs Way Ambassador, Pete Lambert on this absolutely stunning 9.5 mile hike around Westcott, Friday Street and Ranmore Common.
This walk is challenging but beautiful so the hard work is always rewarded with magnificent high views and history filled valleys.
Dress for the weather and bring suitable walking shoes/boots as well as plenty of water/fluids, lunch and snacks for energy.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead due to walking through farmland and crossing some busy roads.
We start early because the free car park becomes very full, very quickly. Please be there and ready to go by 08:30
The full walk and north walk begin at the National Trust,Ranmore Common NT car park, very approximate postcode RH5 6SY, grid ref TQ127502, just off the Ranmore Common Road near Dorking, Surrey,

This is not the big Denbies car park but the free car park, one mile further west (away from Dorking) along the Ranmore Common Road, on your left.
All walks are led by experienced leaders with first aid qualifications
