Dr Jane Goodall DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) and UN Messenger of Peace, is a world-renowned and globally admired conservation activist, who inspires greater understanding and action in others.Known for her groundbreaking studies of wild chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania, she also has a particular interest in galvanising young people to care deeply for the planet they will inherit. Through her pioneering Roots & Shoots programme, Jane advocates practical positive change for people, animals and the environment.
During Jane’s talk, entitled Reasons for Hope, she will share stories about her life, her reasons for hope and her belief that it is up to each one of us to decide what kind of positive difference we wish to make through our daily actions.
