Join us for our next In Conversation With… event featuring alumna Emilie Weaving. Emilie will be speaking to Mr Darren Payne, Head of Shrewsbury High School.A Trailblazer Finalist in our Alumna of the Year Competition 2022, Emilie has paved her own way in the traditionally male-dominated world of engineering.
As a Mechanical Engineer, she has eight years of development and testing experience, from diesel engines to motorcycle helmets and military vehicles. Emilie is passionate about encouraging women to pursue a career in the field, and writes about her STEM lifestyle in her blog, The Female Engineer.
Emilie will be discussing her career highlights, sharing her school memories, and offering some advice to aspiring young girls and women hoping to follow in her footsteps.
