Manipulative matriarch Mum runs a shoddy building firm with her three sons. Despite Tom and Terry’s attempts to be free, Mum always manages to remain in control. At their yearly get together to celebrate Mum and their late Father’s anniversary, Tom plans to introduce his pregnant fiancée, Shirley, to the family. Such news is bound to upset Mum, the more the better as far as Tom is concerned. But Terry and his wife Karen have news of their own, and they don’t want Tom stealing the spotlight.
