Have you got something to say about music education - come along to our launch event and find out more about Amplify, Lancashire Music Hub's youth board.You'll get to hear from existing members, including about our national Citizen's Assembly on the future of Music Education which we ran as part of the Music for Youth Festival in Birmingham. There will also be the chance to join the debate and share your opinions and experiences on musical opportunities inside and outside of school.
Following the launch event you can apply to be part of the Amplify board for 2023 - 2024.
Amplify's aim is to ensure young people’s voices are represented at a strategic level and help shape the future of Music Education in our County. The board is made up of young people aged 14 - 19 who live, or go to school/college in Lancashire. It is facilitated by Rachel Parsons from More Music and Cath Sewell from Lancashire Music Service. We meet approximately 5 times each term in Preston
