Art Exhibition - 'Our Colourful World'
About
Come along to Woodland Corner’s first ever art exhibition on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November. The theme is OUR COLOURFUL WORLD, featuring a beautiful selection of works from local art gallery Skymeadow Gallery (www.skymeadowgallery.com).As well as their vibrant use of colour, the pieces on display have been chosen for their connection to Suffolk or East Anglia. Among them are stunning Suffolk landscape scenes, charming vintage British Railways posters and evocative pastels and watercolours by Joan Warburton. Warburton, who lived in Stoke-by-Nayland for many years, was a founding student at Benton End, studying under Sir Cedric Morris and Lett-Haines at the East Anglian School of Painting and Drawing.
