Tragically, since filming, Line lost her life in an avalanche in the Swiss Alps. This poignant film was finished in her memory.
In MY PHANTOM Dutch alpinist Line van den Berg questioning what it means to be a woman in the elite climbing community. For years, Line searched for the 'perfect' female climbing partner to share her passion for mountains and to join the struggle of being an athlete in a male-dominated sport. Fay Manners became that partner.
