About
Join us on our farm for our Fourth Workshop learning about the wonderful world of mushrooms and how instrumental they are for our ecosystem.The course is aimed at 13-18 year olds. On this course you will:
> Learn about how mushrooms help our ecosystem and are beneficial to our health
> Help cultivate mushroom as part of our mushroom growing project, and tend to a range of seasonal plants in our polytunnel
> Find and identify mushroom growing on our farm
> Discover fungi in your typical grocery shopping!
> Understand the value of healthy soil and rich biodiversity to food growing
> Help us reduce waste - please bring your own reusable cup, and share lifts where possible
> Take home your own mushroom kit to grow your own, a selection of mushroom inspired recipes and useful facts and info sheets about mushroom.
