Willow Weaving Workshop - Christmas stars (SOLD OUT)

About
Come and join the Coddiwomplers for a fun, relaxed willow weaving workshop at our picturesque setting on Deepdale Farm. Under the tuition of 2 experienced basket makers, you will learn some basic skills and techniques of willow weaving whilst creating beautiful Christmas stars to decorate your home or give as gifts.
Emma and Stuart are teachers and basket weavers based in South Norfolk. Stuart has been honing his craft for over 15 years, with Emma joining as apprentice a few years ago. She is now a fully fledged member of the team and together they provide a fun, supportive environment in which to learn the craft of willow weaving.
This three-hour workshop is suitable for beginners, so no previous experience of willow weaving is necessary. However, some manual dexterity and hand strength will be required. Minimum age 18.
Teas, coffees and biscuits will be provided.
Maximum 10 participants in each session.
The course will be held in the Brick Barn, beside Deepdale Camping and Rooms. There is heating, but it is a large barn, so please dress suitably for the weather with layers.
Book in for the morning session as well if you would like to make a selection of flat woven Christmas trees.
No accommodation is included with this course. We would recommend staying at Deepdale Camping & Rooms, which offer excellent self-catering rooms and camping for tents, campervans and motorhomes.
