Is this an all day event?

Yes, the doors will open at 9am (we advise seating at 9.50am, so you don’t miss the big start). The event will run from 10am until 7pm with an hour lunch break. Because of the electric atmosphere, the day will seem like it’s over in a flash. So our advice is to savour the moment and enjoy it whilst taking lots of notes.

 

What’s the agenda?

There are three main sections to the Master Your Life event.

The First Section is:

What’s been holding you back?

Former UFC star Tom Blackledge and TV documentary star James Burke will take you on a trip down memory lane to find out what’s been really holding you back. Everybody is different, but it usually falls into 1 of 4 different categories (or sometimes all 4). You’ll get really clear on some of the things that have been holding you back. You’ll start to feel like you again whilst propelling forward and growing.

The Second Section:

A Defining Moment

You’ll join James again alongside best-selling author Michael Heppell. Learn how to create defining moments and where they come from. By the time you leave, you’ll have had your own defining moment and you’ll have experienced a personal transformation. Life will never be the same and you’ll begin to realise that no matter what has happened in your life… the best is yet to come.

Time for Lunch - Head out to the ICC or local food establishments to grab your lunch, but hurry back… the afternoon session will redefine your whole life.

The Third Section:

Follow your dreams

The UK's fastest-growing comedian Paul Smith will teach you EXACTLY what he did to EXPLODE onto the scene and have more success than he ever thought possible (recently selling 200,000 tickets for his UK tour in just ONE DAY). We close the curtain with a sensational performance from Ella Henderson. Ella will take more than a decade's worth of musical experience to bring the event to a powerful conclusion. 

Can I pay in monthly instalments?

Yes, choose the monthly instalment offer when on checkout. Discounts don’t apply to the monthly instalment offers and you must complete the GoCardless link that you’ll receive after your ticket is booked. Payments will be taken on the 1st of the following month. The overall price is slightly higher due to GoCardless fees.

 

Is lunch provided?

No lunch isn’t provided. Like most theatre shows you’ll find catering and kiosks throughout the venue. There are also lots of restaurants, fast food establishments and cafes nearby. Some of them you’ll find in the ICC and others are in the immediate area around the venue.

 

What time will it actually start?

The doors open at 9am and we’d suggest being sat in your seat for 9.50am. Give yourself plenty of time in case the traffic is bad or there’s a hold up getting you to your seat. The show will start promptly at 10am.

 

How much are tickets?

Tickets range from £117 to £270. There are four different tiers and each one has a different benefits. With some of them you’ll get a signed book, whilst with others you’ll get a clipboard, pen and blindfold.

Are there hotels nearby if I decide to stay over?

Yes, there are plenty of hotel options nearby. Whether it’s a budget hotel or somewhere luxurious you’ll find what you’re looking for in Birmingham's city centre.

 

What’s the venue like?

Iconic. Symphony Hall really is a special venue. It’s been hailed as the best concert hall in the UK. As soon as you walk into the theatre you’ll see why. We couldn’t have found a better venue for such a spectacular event.

 

Are there scheduled breaks?

A lunch break is scheduled after the second part of the show (‘The Defining Moment’). Other than that, you’re free to nip to the toilet, grab a drink or have some fresh air whenever you like. However, you won’t want to take too long. This really is an action packed event with some really special moments.

 

Do I have a designated seat?

No, when you enter the venue you’ll be given a wristband that matches your tier. You can then sit anywhere within that tier. If you need help, just ask a steward for help.

 

Is it a mindset event?

Yes, Master Your Life is a mindset and personal development event. It’s a bit like an event and a gig all rolled into one. You’ll hear from some of the best speakers in the UK, see a chart-topping global superstar sing live, AND go through an experience like nothing you’ve ever witnessed before.

 

Is this a gig?

It certainly has some of the traits that you’d expect to see at a gig.

You’ll get the learnings from some of the UK’s best speakers, hear the best artists perform live, and go on your own journey to happiness and fulfilment.

 

What time will the event finish?

The event concludes promptly at 7 pm with an impactful finish. Plan your trip back to the hotel or home well in advance to end your night on a high note.

 

Is there local transport nearby?

For transportation, you have various options like taxis, bus, metro, or train. The nearest stations include Crescent Theatre (2 min walk), Brindley Place (4 min walk), and Brindley Place Metro (4 min walk). A tram service available from 'The Library' tram stop by Symphony Hall. A bus stop is within 150m. The closest mainline train station is 'Birmingham New Street.' Remember to plan your journey in advance.

 

Can I get a refund?

All tickets are non-refundable in accordance with our ticketing policy.

 

How long is each speaker on for?

Speakers vary in duration: 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 1 hour. Together they will tell an integrated story to provide you with the best experience possible.

 

What will I learn?

Discover mindset, elevate your growth, and delve into the essence of self-development. Speakers will unveil barriers, propelling you forward and guiding you through defining moments. Do I need to bring anything with me?

Yes, bring cash or a card for lunch (not included in the ticket). Also, bring colored pens (writing in coloured pens can help you remember more) and a pad or journal.
