This is a two day course with venues as follows : Day one Westway Climbing Centre, London, W10 6RP, 0800-1500hrs (Abseil option 1530-1945). Day 2 XC Climbing, Jarman Park, Hemel Hempstead, Herts, HP2 4JS 0900-18.00hrs.
The climbing training is during the day and the abseil training is early evening (more details below).

The Mountain Training Climbing Wall Instructor award is a qualification for climbers who are in a position of responsibility when supervising climbing activities on indoor or outdoor climbing walls, artificial boulders and towers.
This 2 day course develops the skills and techniques to manage climbing and bouldering groups in a variety of situations. It consists of a series of discussion workshops to share and benefit from each other’s experiences.

DAY 1: Saturday is 08:00 - 15:00
at Westway Climbing Centre, 1 Crowthorne Road, London W10 6RP
DAY 2 : Sunday is 09:00 - 18:00
at XC, Jarman Park, Hemel Hempstead HP2 4JS

Climbing Wall Abseil Instructor session details:
The CWAI is an optional module with the purpose to train and assess people responsible for supervising abseiling from climbing walls. Arrampica offer this as a bolt-on to this CWI course, with the module running over both evenings after the standard course days. Please be aware that CWI training must have been completed in advance if booking the abseil only option.
The Abseil module takes place after the climbing training at Westway. Occassionally we may need extra participants to stay if not many people have booked the abseil module.

Arrampica train and assess instructors and personnel working at high ropes courses, adventure parks, zip wires and artificial cave systems. Arrampica also provide these services for the education sector including schools and outdoor pursuits centres, as well as suitably qualified and experienced memebers of the general public.
Arrampica are an ERCA training body, a Mountain Training Course Provider and a Route Setting Association provider.
