An epic hike though some of the best scenery in the Lake District.Join Carer Support South Lakes on this Keswick to Kendal Challenge (K2K) covers 30, 15 or 6 miles through some of the best scenery in the English Lake District.
Challenge yourself to the whole 30 miles (Keswick to Kendal) or 15 miles (Ambleside to Kendal) or 6 miles (Staveley to Kendal).
Registration Fee: £10
Minimum Fundraising Pledge £100
The K2K route starts at 7am from Moot Hall in Keswick, and finishes in the Market Place, Kendal, about 10 hours later.
This will be a long day and very hilly so please make sure you have good walking shoes and clothing for the weather as well as plenty of food and drink and a first aid kit (blister platers) You will need a reasonable level of fitness and be able to walk for possibly up to 10 hours. The walk starts at 7:00am prompt so make sure you have made arrangements to be at Keswick Moot Hall well in advance of the start time.
