The event will be used to share best practices and approaches to support social work students by discussing successful strategies and programmes that have positively impacted their experiences, providing a broad understanding of effective support. By bringing together individuals with lived, learned, and professional experiences in social work, the event can promote a sense of community within the profession, with a shared goal of supporting students as the future of social work.We have guest speakers Stacy Procter, Chloe Johnson, Leigh-anne Coffey, Vicki Shevlin, Cally Bleasby and Stephen Mordue discussing topics such as Peer support, Social work students with lived experience, social media and podcast, and wellbeing and resilience for social work students.
