As you may be aware, Kath Heatherington retired at the end of the Autumn term after 30 years of service to Bolton School.It is in the School’s Netball success where Kath’s enduring legacy to the School lies. Across the years, there have been a plethora of tournaments, tours at home and abroad and success at both local and national level.
It seemed fitting therefore that any retirement festivities should centre around Netball and so to mark the occasion, we are holding an event here at School beginning with Netball matches, followed by a celebration buffet lunch, on Saturday 23rd March, to which you are warmly invited. We hope that this event will prove the perfect opportunity, for those who enjoyed netball during their time at School, to reminisce, reflect and share stories from the last thirty years.
