To coincide with British Science Week and to celebrate International Pi Day itself, we are delighted to relaunch our lockdown 'An Evening With' series with an in-person event with legendary TV presenter Johnny Ball. The Headmaster, Mr Howe, cannot wait to interview one of his own childhood heroes. Open to all pupils, parents, staff, Old Vikings, local residents and other friends of the College.Johnny left school with 2 O Levels, worked in aircraft production, joined the RAF and was a Butlin’s Redcoat. Now, over 60 years later, he is renowned for being a much-loved children's TV presenter, fondly remembered for bringing complex maths and science subjects to life in an engaging, entertaining and accessible fashion. With a formidable repertoire of programmes, along with stage musicals, radio, books, Strictly Come Dancing participant and BAFTA award winner, he is sure to be a fascinating and entertaining guest.
Doors open at 6.30pm. Event starts at 7.00pm, finishing around 8.30pm.
