Get along and meet up with a great bunch of people with lovely whisky and in a brewery, what could go wrong? Join North East Whisky Appreciation Soc (NEWAS) along with the fab Amy Teasdale from the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery to explore and sample your way through a lovely line up of whiskies for your delectation. This is much more than a tasting as you get to join in with a great bunch of people. Gatherings are legendary and the venue is perfect so we will be in for another thoroughly pleasant evening. With your ticket you get to sample all the whiskies in the line up and I can confirm they are:

'I am going to bring a bottle of the single cask 663. “ Single casks, and especially Sherry casks, are something we as a distillery don’t fill or do very often. Being able to taste this outside of getting this through a ballot, is very rare. Released last year and only available as a trio from the distillery, this one of a kind whisky is something not to be missed!'

About the distillery and Filey Bay Whisky: Filey Bay is the first single malt whisky made in, and of, Yorkshire. Why 'of Yorkshire'? Because it's created by us from field to bottle, here on the coast. This is our story. One day some time in 2011, best friends Tom and Dave were chatting over a pint: 'we've got barley on the farm, we've got our own water, and we already make great beer.' Whisky was the next logical step.
