Spring Forage Walk (SOLD OUT)
About
Come and join a foraging walk along the River Lune and discover the wealth of edible and medicinal plants growing there. You will learn how to identify plants, about their properties and how best to prepare them, as well as some historical and folklore uses.This walk will be led by Julia Russell, local Herbalist and Plant Forager, with over 20 years of experience leading herb and foraged foods walks.
Booking is essential.
Meeting point for the walk: At the foot of the Millenium Bridge on Damside Street, Lancaster. Nearest postcode is LA1 1AH. If you’d like to sample a foraged drink, please bring along a flask of hot water.
