Exploring a local food hub & community farm

Join LESS, a Lancaster based social enterprise, to find out about two exciting new projects.From 18:00 - 19:00 LESS will share a summary from a recent piece of feasibility work for a local food hub which will connect local food producers with customers. This will be a chance to find out about the proposed food hub pilot which will be run during 2024, ask questions and find out how you can get involved.
The second session (from 19:15 - 20:15) will share plans for purchasing a site in the district for a community farm. LESS will share plans for input and ideas for the development of a local community farm, whilst offering the chance to dream and share visions for what a community farm could look like. There will be the opportunity to have your say about what would be important to you and your community.
You are welcome to join either or both sessions.
