Findhorn from the Edges - a Week-long Hinterland Retreat
8 June 2pm - 15 June 10am 2024
‘Edges are the places of greatest vitality…’ (Permaculture)
The Findhorn Hinterland Trust brings you a seven-night camping retreat offering the opportunity to experience yourself and our community in a communal group setting. There will be a special emphasis on connecting with nature in this magical part of the world. We will camp at the edge of the woodland near our firepit and shelter next to the world-famous ecovillage and 20 minutes from the historic fishing village of Findhorn.
This week is intended as an introduction to the spiritual Findhorn-eco-community as well as an honouring of your individual journeys. During the week we will explore some of the spiritual and nature practices that have been developed over the past 60+ years and have shaped our lives here: ‘Inner listening', ‘Co-creation with the Intelligence of Nature’ and ‘Love in Action’. We will also have sharing circles around the fire, playful group-building exercises, attunements and more.
Take an inner journey as you develop how to connect with others, with nature and ultimately with yourself. Deepen into the rhythms of the landscape, both inner and outer.
While the programme will be exclusive to our group, there will also be space to join in with some community activities.
As it is a camping retreat, please bring your own camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag etc). The FHT has a few tents & sleeping mats to rent out, if required. Food will be provided (no cooking gear needed).
