Returning to Glasgow’s best live venue right after the Edinburgh fringe, Malachy, along with long-time collaborator Dabrowski will bring with them an intimacy and power that cannot be explained, but only witnessed.Born to Irish parents in Western Australia, Malachy cut his teeth busking on the streets of Australia. His music draws influence from his Irish heritage as well as the many thousands of lives the man has lived. Unrivalled in his ability to hold even the largest of venues to pin-drop silence, Malachy will be bringing a whole new swag of songs to the fair city of Glasgow.
Opening the night, as well as joining to close out the show will be Polish guitar extraordinaire, Bartek Dabrowski. Classically trained in his youth, Dabrowski jettisoned his earlier experiences of the guitar on a quest to find something truly his own. To describe Dabrowski as transcendental would be an understatement.
