Our June 2024 concert covers the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Beethoven's Symphony no. 2 is a perfect summer accompaniment. Shostakovich's 1st cello concerto is a great showcase for the soloist and both energetic and elegiac. And to take us right up to date we play Anna Appleby's "Bridges" which will provide a few musical surprises. We hope to see you there!
