Free Blacksmithing (SOLD OUT)
About
Come and work with our Blacksmith and make a coat hook, heart or a key ring. This event is free and is designed to give both young and old a like a taste of Blacksmithing. If time allows we can make other items as well. It’s suitable for 11 and above. We have sessions just for young people (11 to 18) and adult sessions (18 and above)All items made can be taken home.
The Forge will supply all personal protection equipment.
Please note:
We only recommend 1hr duration activity as the act of Blacksmithing is physical and mental demanding. We also recommend that the child is accompanied by an Adult on the Friday sessions. We don’t have any general childcare facilities.
