Come along and get a taste of Archer life!

We are keen to give our prospective students the chance to come and see what life at secondary school will be like, and to start getting to know us. We invite all Year 6 students to attend some taster lessons at the Archer Academy on Tuesday 1st October 2024 at our lower school campus. 

These fun, interesting sessions will offer children the opportunity to enjoy a new and different learning experience, and feel more confident and excited about this important next stage in their lives.

The lessons run from 4.30pm to 6pm. Students should arrive at 4.20pm, in time for lessons which will start formally at 4.30pm. Students will be ready for collection from 6pm. Children should come dressed in their primary school uniform and ideally wearing trainers for sports, drama and dance based activities.

Please note that no parking is available on site; we would very much appreciate your support with this.

Students will take part in two lessons during the afternoon and examples of some of the activities they may enjoy are shown below:

Contemporary Dance – an opportunity to learn a new piece of choreography

Chemical Detectives – an introduction to Chemistry

Archer Flyers – an opportunity to practice and perfect the skills of trampolining
