Join us for an afternoon exploring the art of hymn and psalm accompaniment:

2pm - Workshop 1: Masterclass on hymn and psalm accompaniment
A comprehensive masterclass on the accompaniment of hymns and psalms, including consideration of appropriate tempi, metre, introductions, registration according to type of organ, dimensions and acoustic of building and size of congregation.

3pm - Workshop 2: Adding value to hymns
A workshop on pre- and post- improvisations on hymn tunes and innovative ways to reharmonise last verses and add stunning climaxes to festal hymn playing.

4pm - Refreshments
