Join us for a very special two-part event uncovering Chapel Island's fascinating past and present.Part One: Weds 25 September, 7pm - Online gathering to uncover the rich history of Chapel Island and its present role protecting Morecambe Bay's birdlife
Part Two: Sat 28 September, 2.15pm - A walk into the Bay exploring the sands near Chapel Island in the Leven Estuary, Morecambe Bay and a rare chance to visit Collins Weir.
In this special two-part event we'll learn about Chapel Island's fascinating past, unique location and its current role protecting the Bay's precious wildlife. A few days later we'll walk into the sands near to Chapel Island crossing the Bay on foot. In this lesser known route across the Bay, you'll walk in the footsteps of Chapel Island's monks, travellers and fisherman.
