Introduction to Traditional English Archery -Family Sessions

Croots are pleased to announce that we are working alongside Robin of Shire Bushcraft again, who will be delivering two Introduction to Traditional English Archery sessions here at Croots HQ on Saturday 14th September 2024.Robin has dedicated many years to mastering traditional English archery, which he became involved with over 15 years ago. He now teaches and shoots all over the globe, sharing his passion and ability for heavy draw weight archery, for which he is worldly renowned.
These 2 hour family sessions, for parents and children aged 7 and up, will include the history and design of the English longbow and arrows, the techniques and warm ups needed to draw the bows, and then lots of close range / longer range practice, with plenty of supportive technique critique and development.
All bows and arrows are supplied, to suit all ages and abilities. The group size is a maximum of 12 per session, to ensure you receive a high quality experience.
