Train as an MHFAider and you'll get three years of MHFAider Support and Benefits to help you feel empowered and confident in your role.
You will be accessing the very best evidence-based MHFA course available. Our training is grounded in research and developed with clinical practitioners. It is proved to increase your confidence in supporting people with mental health issues. And the training doesn't stop when the course comes to an end with continuous support for a further three years so you are confident, empowered and motivated to carry out your role.
This one-day course is subsidised by Penrith BID for members and costs only £35 plus VAT per person.

MFHA England has partnered with Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) to create an internationally recognised MHFAider qualification.
The RSPH Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid helps you embed your learning further. It is an opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to the role and your expertise as an a MHFAider, whilst furthering your own development.

Date of course
Criteria
The training is open to all BID levy payers.
To enable as many businesses to take part, courses are limited to 4 delegates per business per course.
On the day
All training takes place at the Quaker Meeting House in Penrith. The course starts at 9.30am prompt and will finish at 4.30pm. Delegates are asked to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure everyone is ready for the start of the day. Free parking is available at the venue.
Tea and coffee are provided but candidates are asked to bring their own lunch.
