The aim of this training is to provide an overview of the statutory Child Death Review (CDR) and the role of the Child Death Review Nurse.This session is for any professional who works directly or indirectly with children and/or their families.
About this event:
This session will cover:
• the legislation which governs and the principles behind the Child Death Review process
• an overview of the various multi-professional meetings held throughout the process
• how to make a Notification of Death for a child via Sussex eCDOP and other associated forms
• the role of the Child Death Review Nurse
• the first steps to support a bereaved family
The training will be held on MS Teams, joining instructions will be circulated 24hrs before the event.
