Disability Equality- Online Session FREE Training WorkshopThis workshop based training, held via Microsoft Teams will enable participants to understand key disability legislation and support the learner in recognising and meeting the needs of disabled people.
Each training session will cover:
- Creating a more inclusive environment for all by removing barriers.
- Understanding attitudes and how they have changed over time.
- Highlighting the importance and value of the social model.
- Awareness of respectful language and etiquette.
WDP provides awareness and equality training as a Disability Confident Leader, with over 32 years experience of supporting disabled people. To date our trainers have delivered sessions to over 50,000 staff, volunteers and students.
Supported by Skills For Care, Warrington Disability Partnership are offering a number of FREE Workshop to Direct Payments & Personal Health Budget employers, personal assistants and prospective employees.
