The Worker Protection Act has changed!

The Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023 becomes law on 26 October 2024.The Employment Rights Bill (section 15) is proposing that employers take “all reasonable steps” to prevent sexual harassment. Employers will be expected to be able to demonstrate their commitment to providing a working environment free from sexual harassment, where employees are treated and treat others with dignity and respect. Failure to put preventative measures in place can lead to costly employment tribunal claims.
