Expansion of Cumbria Coastal 200 (CCR200) - Viability Study

Cumbria Tourism (CT) has appointed GC Insight to undertake a viability study, exploring and testing potential opportunities to develop and expand the CCR200, positioning it as a multi user tourism ‘route’ of national and international significance and appeal, in turn supporting incremental economic growth along the coast and less well-known parts of the county.
An important component of the research is engaging with stakeholders, to explore a range of issues around the CCR200, including:
• Role of the CCR200 in meeting regional strategic objectives
• Expectations of the CCR200’s proposed development
• Opportunities and challenges for development and expansion; and
• Complementarity with other initiatives
To enable this, CT and GC Insight are inviting stakeholders to attend one of two workshops in November.
This event is free to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
Workshop places must be prebooked and although the workshops are open to anyone, numbers are limited so preference will be given to stakeholders along or close to the current CCR200 route.
