Great Central Railway Nottingham, based at the Nottingham Transport heritage Centre are delighted to announce that we are planning to operate our fabulous recently restored Class 107 DMU on Sunday 29th December for two return trips from Ruddington Fields to the A60 Bridge at the Brush Works close to Loughborough – basically, as far south as our line will allow until reunification with our friends at the GCR can be completed.This will be the first time we have operated a passenger service along our entire 8 miles of track in five years and is not planned to be repeated again in the near future.
Departure times are 11.00 and 13.00. Demand for these trains is sure to be high so please book early on line.
Return Tickets are priced at £18.00 per adult with ‘kids going for a quid’ are available.
Obviously, given the time of year, any trip will be subject to cancellation if weather conditions dictate.
