Over an hour and a half, your guide will introduce you to the characters in history responsible for the building of such an iconic and impressive medieval minster. After a short walk around the ground floor, you'll be guided up a narrow, spiral-stone staircase into the roof of the building.
The tour takes place within the dramatic loft space of the church. We don't go outside onto the roof itself as there is no safe way to take people out there. Sensible footwear is essential. No open-toed sandals, flipflops or high heels. Children must be aged 8 or over to join the tour.
