Join us on Wednesday 29th January for an evening of music, inspiring guest speakers and reflections for Holocaust Memorial Day.This year, Holocaust Memorial Day (commemorated on 27th January each year) marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration camp complex, and the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Bosnia. The theme of this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day is ‘For a Better Future’ and is an opportunity for people to come together, learn both from and about the past, and take actions to make a better future for all.
We will be joined by a number of guest speakers, including relatives of Holocaust survivors, who will be sharing their families experiences and reflections. Students from Norwich High School for Girls will also be performing a selection of music pieces.
We hope you can join us for what promises to be a thought provoking and poignant evening.
