Didcot Choral Society - Bach St. John Passion

Join us for our Easter performance of one of Bach’s best-loved works, the St John Passion. First performed in Leipzig on Good Friday 1724, this piece tells the story of Christ’s last days. Robert Schumann, who conducted the John Passion in 1851, described it as "more daring, forceful and poetic" than the Matthew Passion.
