Join expert natural dyers from Sewing Cafe Lancaster's Living Colour Team on Saturday 28th June, 11am-1pm at Claver Hill Community Farm, and learn all about the plants that grow locally, how to extract colours from them and how to create beautiful fabrics that are good for you and the planet!
The session will cover:
-An introduction to growing plants for dyes
-Some examples of plants and their use as dyes
-A chance to try some eco-printing and understand one process for using natural dyes.
