Community Composting with Closing Loops

About
Composting is an important part of the cycle of growing food. Community composting is a collective approach to recycle nutrients from unavoidable food waste and waste materials from growing areas into healthy living compost. When added to soils this can protect them from drought and flood, and produce healthy plants and food.In this session Diana, from the Closing Loops project, will briefly introduce the key principles of composting, before exploring approaches to community composting. There will be space to identify challenges and possible solutions to community composting in your own setting, and develop your own ideas for community composting with your local neighbours, community group or organisation.
