About

ProMMise is a platform trial evaluating belantamab mafodotin (belamaf) in combination with other myeloma treatments. Currently, patients receiving belamaf require regular ocular examinations which can place a significant burden on both patients and healthcare systems. If it can be demonstrated that belamaf can be safely administered without the need for frequent ocular examinations, this could reduce healthcare costs, alleviate patient burden, and increase access to belamaf across centres.
The new trial arm, ProMMise-D aims to explore an alternative method for monitoring ocular toxicity. It will do so by investigating whether a clinician-led assessment (Vision Related Anamnestic Tool, or VRAT) can be used to safely guide belamaf dosing in patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. This webinar will provide an overview of the trial design, assessments and treatment combination used in the ProMMise-D trial arm. Join to learn more about how your hospital can get involved.
