A fun and hands-on workshop learning how to use different woodworking tools by building a unique wooden bench seat as part of a team effort. This is not fine carpentry but problem solving to transform thick planking with few straight lines and right angles into a piece of wooden art. It involves practical problem solving and developing physical skills with tools to transform simple natural materials into something beautiful and functional. All tools and materials are supplied and the different stages of the process are covered. This is a highly creative and rewarding event put on by Steve, a passionate and experienced woodworker and delivered in the woodland undercover in the FHT magnificent Conservation Hub.

All protective equipment will be provided.

Practical details:

• Course starts on Saturday at 10am Saturday and finishes at 3pm on Sunday
• Please bring old clothes to work in. Boots are the preferred footwear.

Offered by donation & booking essential! All donation go to the Findhorn Hinterland Trust and support the work the charity is doing. You can either donate when booking your place or after the workshop in cash.
