Earthsongs is a powerful musical experience that explores our relationship with the natural world.Performed and curated by violinist David Le Page, with velvet-voiced vocals from Jackie Oates, the programme takes audiences on a journey through diverse musical landscapes, from the baroque brilliance of Vivaldi to the haunting intensity of Joy Division, the rhythmic fire of Piazzolla’s Libertango, and the serene ambient soundscapes of Brian Eno. The featured works depict birds in flight, stormy seas, and moments of pure natural wonder.
This unique event blends classical, folk, ambient, and experimental music to highlight both the beauty of our planet and the urgent need for its preservation.
