Welcome to the annual Speech and Drama showcase evening! Pupils will be performing a selection of their Trinity pieces which they will then go on to perform for an examiner in a week’s time. Tonight is about showing you what we’ve been working on, but also about allowing and encouraging the girls to work under pressure; to control any nerves they might feel and to step out in front of you all to perform their pieces to the best of their abilities. Speech and Drama promotes this, but also calls for imagination, empathy, and teamwork; all valuable assets in today’s sometimes confusing world. We hope you enjoy the evening!Date
